Atelier Millevaches is a butcher’s with a radical commitment to quality: “It’s better to enjoy less meat, but meat of a higher quality”. The owners of the ultra-modern shop in the up-and-coming district of Eilandje in Antwerp are experienced in the trendy restaurant scene – and the shop has its own farm in the French département of Creuse. This is where the cattle and pigs for Millevaches are raised and slaughtered, in order to avoid stress caused by the live transportation of animals.

Authenticity and transparency are also key elements of the shop’s architecture. Even the shop front, with its steel shutter and sides of beef in the window, makes it clear that this is a place where the focus is on the production of fresh meat and cold cuts.

As far as the lighting was concerned, the planners chose LED spotlights with the special light colour SpecialMeat, whose spectral composition perfectly showcases the quality of the products.
