Job Description:

As a Light Planner at BARO, you will play a key role in the creative process. You will be responsible for developing custom lighting plans that meet the client’s aesthetic vision while adhering to technical specifications and budgetary requirements. Additionally, you will support the sales team with your technical knowledge of lighting design and products, helping them throughout the sales process.

This position offers a unique combination of creativity and precision. You will work closely with architects, interior designers, clients, and the sales team to create perfect lighting solutions and ensure the smooth implementation of projects.

Light Planner Responsibilities:

  • Designing lighting plans: Translate client needs into creative, functional, and technical lighting designs.
  • Technical drawings: Create precise lighting plans and technical drawings using AutoCAD and Relux software.
  • Tailored advice: Provide expert advice on lighting technologies and products, guiding clients in choosing the right solutions for their projects.
  • Collaborating with project partners: Work closely with architects, interior designers, and contractors to ensure lighting designs are seamlessly integrated into the overall concept.
  • Project follow-up: Oversee the entire process from design to implementation, ensuring correct execution within the agreed timeline.

Sales Support Responsibilities:

  • Support with quotations: Collaborate with the sales team to prepare detailed quotations, offering tailored lighting solutions.
  • Client communication: Maintain close involvement throughout the sales process, ensuring a smooth transition from design to implementation.
  • Order management: Diligently follow up on orders and invoices, ensuring all projects are delivered within the agreed deadlines.

Who are you?

You are a creative and technically proficient Light Planner who thrives on precision and results-oriented work. You have experience designing lighting plans and using specialized software such as AutoCAD and Relux. You value structure and clarity in your work but also enjoy coming up with creative solutions for challenging lighting problems. Your strong communication skills enable you to clearly convey both technical and creative ideas to various stakeholders.

Your Profile:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Light Planner or in a similar role in the lighting or technical sector.
  • Extensive knowledge of lighting design software, including AutoCAD and Relux.
  • Creative and solution-oriented thinking, with an eye for detail and functionality.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical and creative ideas clearly.
  • Experience in project follow-up from design to implementation.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work independently within clear structures and deadlines.
